Apprenticeship Program

In 2017, Mock Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. launched its Plumbing & Pipefitting Apprenticeship Program to lead our industry in trained and qualified employees. We teamed up with the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) of Georgia to create this program and it has grown to become a nationally recognized apprenticeship.

Plumbing & Pipefitting Apprenticeship Program

  • Four year program designed to take participants from understanding the basics of plumbing and pipefitting to becoming knowledgeable and experienced industry professionals.
  • Teaches participants skills for a successful future and career.
  • Dedicated classroom facility and labs for hands-on experience.
  • Successful graduates will earn all the necessary licenses, certifications and credentials to help them succeed in the plumbing and mechanical field.
  • Approved by the Department of Labor (DOL).
  • Open to all interested employees with at least six months of service with Mock Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. and recommendation by their peers. 
  • Held at Mock Plumbing & Mechanical's facility in Savannah, GA.

Mock Plumbing & Mechanical's apprenticeship program is open to all interested employees with at least six months of service with the firm.

Students in Mock Plumbing & Mechanical's apprenticeship program participate in group study sessions, online learning and hands-one training programs.

In recognition of their ongoing achievements in the Mock Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. Apprenticeship Program, Jeremy Jackson and Quantavious Mathis were awarded $1,000 scholarships from the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association of Georgia (PHCC). Jeremy Jackson was also awarded a set of professional grade Rigid tools worth $1,500. Safety Program

Mock's management team promotes job safety from the top down and our employees thoroughly understand the important role safety must play in every activity. Supervisors from every department at Mock worked closely with the local chapter of the AGC to develop a comprehensive Safety Program dedicated to the elimination of job-site and "off the job-site" related accidents. Our company Policy Manual outlines proper job-site behavior, reporting of unsafe conditions, and reporting of accidents.

Safety Incentive Program

As a reward for creating and maintaining a safe working environment, Mock Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. sponsors a Safety Incentive Program to allow employees the opportunity to win prizes and recognition for their safe work efforts.
